Wearable Art

Creating wearable art allows me to hold space for viewers of the boots to tap into the universal feelings of connection to nature associated with the sunrise and sunset. Fascinated by the ever changing color and light, photographs I took at the beach became the inspiration for the Sunrise/Sunset Boots. The beach is where I find peace, clarity and strength. I believe by wearing the painted boots I can facilitate the peaceful aesthetic I felt at the moment I took the photographs.
